The sweetest of boys who’s never truly had his chance. Meet Jack! He’s full of life with a happy, goofy personality and a surprising amount of pep in his step for his age. He loves the water, adores his crate, and melts for belly rubs and treats. He’s loyal, silly, and has a heart as big as his blocky head. But none of those things have found Jack his home. Jack has been at our Rescue for over 2 years, waiting for his forever home. We know the cards are stacked against him. He’s a senior, dark colored pittie who needs to be the only dog in the home. But for those of us who truly know Jack, we see the dog behind the labels and he’s AMAZING!

Jack came to us after the rescue he was with lost their facility. He needed a safe place to land and we could offer him that at our rescue ranch. Pitties struggle tk find good homes and we knew this good boy needed what we had to give. Time, love and the persistence to find his forever home.

Jack is a lover of all people and has the best pittie smile ever!!! It seriously lights up his entire face. He’s fun and engaging and also a bit of a water dog so if you like water activities this big boy will be happy to join in. Jack doesn’t need much. Just a soft bed, a few good toys, and a human or humans to call his own. After giving so much love to everyone here, he deserves to spend his golden years surrounded by love and belonging. Jack is going to be the perfect addition to a lucky family! We really hope his big pittie grin pulls you in! If you think you might be Jack’s person, please apply to give him the home he’s been dreaming of.

  • Each adoptable pet will be introduced on Facebook
  • Each pet will have its own profile here on the website
  • All pets will be spayed or neutered
  • All pets will be micro-chipped and shots will be up-to-date
  • Each pet has their own application to complete—make sure you use the right one (linked from their bio)

It’s important to us that each pet goes not just to a great home but to the “right” home. Our foster parents work with each pet to get to know them and their needs.

We try hard to list all of the pertinent info about each pet on the site so you can choose the pet that will fit with your family/lifestyle. If you don’t see a specific pet on the site, he/she is not ready for adoption. Please be patient and wait until the bio is listed. We don’t decide on a “first come, first served” basis but rather on a “who’s the very best fit.” So, don’t panic.

It’s not a quick process. We receive dozens of applications for each pet so please be patient. If you’re shortlisted you’ll be contacted as soon as possible.

If selected to meet one of our pets and you currently have pets, you’ll be asked to do an in-person pet intro; we don’t do the long-distance adoption thing. If you live out of town, plan a fun road trip to meet the pet in person.

Don’t be discouraged if your application is not selected. Remember, we get a lot of them! Trust us, the best fit for you is coming.

If you’re lucky and you do adopt a super amazing pet from Marley’s Mutts, don’t ever hesitate to reach out to us for training, medication, or behavior questions. We’re here for you, and your pet.
